We were recommended by the owner of this Audi A4 who had no electric windows or central locking. He was told he needed a new convenience module however once this was replaced the issues were had not been resolved.

After a quick scan and pinpointing the nature of the fault, we had discovered that two of the wires in the drivers door trim had perished.

Where many garages and even the main dealer would book this vehicle for hours, we discovered the fault as well as a few other minor issues within half an hour.

We also diagnosed a faulty engine thermostat and a split dump valve.

We visited a customer in Ilford, Essex who required our urgent assistance. His Golf V5 had cut out a number of times on the motorway.

We traveled to Greenford, West London to see the owner of this tidy A6 S line. His garage had carried out a service however the service light on the dashboard requires Audi dealer specific tools in order to reset the light.

Once we carried out the SRS reset, we also enabled Needle Sweep, lit pointers on ignition, Alarm chirp and mirror dipping when the car is in reserve gear (to ensure the wheels are not kerbed when parking up!)

We traveled to Horsham, Sussex to look at a Golf which started off as a 1.4. The owner fitted a 1.8T engine from an Audi and wanted to pair the immobiliser to the ECU and instrument cluster.

Most people disable the immobilier (also known as immobiliser defeat) in order to make their conversions easier however doing so will mean you car will have no engine immobiliser meaning it is less secure and more vulnerable. We of course did it the correct way – retaining the immobiliser

We met with a R32OC member who wanted to upgrade his standard half FIS clocks to full screen (FIS)

We supplied and fitted a set of custom hybrid Passat instrument cluster. What is trick about this modification is that the mileage and trip counter is reversed when compared to standard instrument clusters

The dials are still 180MPH (thanks to our custom EEPROM) however they have the added benefit of being FIS and have the sought after trip computer / mileage feature as found in later Passats. They have lit pointers and miles to empty enabled

The owner of this MK6 Golf GTi attempted to update the maps on his RNS510 Unit as he wanted the full 5 digit postcode search. Early RNS units have outdated software which do not offer full postcode search.
An incorrect procedure resulted in the RNS unit being “bricked” – it was stuck in a boot-up loop and the owner could not use the unit – it was useless until we managed to fix the unit

We updated the unit to the latest firmware and V9 Maps which features full 5 digit postcode search. We also enabled some hidden extras such as Video in Motion (VIM)
