Leon FR PD150

We were visited by the owner of this tidy Leon FR PD150 who was experiencing his car going into “limp mode” (this is where the ECU detects that something semi-serious is wrong, and cuts the engine power so it will not rev beyond a pre-programmed speed)

Armed with VCDS and an open road, we took the car for a long drive and the results pinpointed the turbo vains were sticking and requires replacing / rebuilding

we also enabled autowindows to the car

the owner has contacted a turbo specialist for a rebuild.

Supercharged! seeking the pro’s!

We travelled to South London to help a dubber who lost all his keys to his supercharged V6 Golf 4motion

once the owner had a key cut to the car, we were able to program the key as well as adding autowindows and the usual extras.

The owner was quoted 2 hours labour by the dealership however we were able to provide a competitive mobile service where he avoided the need to recover the car to the dealership as there was no way he could drive the car without a key which was programmed to the car

Cupra R.. riddled with faults

The owner of a 2005 Seat Leon Cupra R decided to contact Vagwerkes after he was advised by his dealership that he needed a new instrument cluster fitted

The speedometer had an intermittent issue where it randomly stopped functioning.

After some basic diagnosing, we inspected the vehicle speed sensor wiring which showed signs of corrision.

We advised the owner to purchase the repair wire and loom
